You can currently get a 10% transfer bonus from AMEX to JetBlue through 5/11 at 11:59pm MT.
The normal AMEX to JetBlue transfer ratio is 1:0.8, so this bonus only brings it up to 250:220, or an effective 12% loss. AMEX also charges a small cash fee for transfers to domestic airlines, something that no other bank does.
Chase and Citibank points transfer to JetBlue at a 1:1 ratio. Capital One miles transfer to JetBlue at a 1:0.6 ratio.
That means this isn’t exactly a lucrative transfer bonus, but it may be worthwhile for those flush with AMEX points.
What are JetBlue points worth?
For example:
- A JetBlue flight from LaGuardia to Orlando on 5/27 costs $73.40 or 4,500 points+$5.60 in basic economy, a value of 1.5 cents per point. Or it costs $113.40 or 7,600 points+$5.60 in economy, a value of 1.42 cents per point.
