Jetex Is Opening A Ben Gurion Lounge With American Express Israel This Month, But Only Israeli AMEX Cards Will Provide Access
Tel Aviv/Ben Gurion Airport’s forgettable Dan lounges closed at the end of 2025.
In its place is an Aspire lounge in Concourse E, which provides access to Star Alliance Gold and business class passengers on most airlines except El Al. An Aspire lounge will also open in Concourse B after renovations.
With this change, Priority Pass no longer has any lounges in Tel Aviv.
And now, a Jetex lounge in conjunction with American Express Israel is opening later this month in Concourse C.
Both the Aspire and Jetex lounges are open 24/7.
Alas, American Express Israel is licensed by Isracard, and they won’t provide lounge access to foreign-issued cards, so you’ll need an Israeli-issued AMEX Platinum or Centurion card to access that lounge.
AMEX USA shared this statement with DansDeals,
“Premium Express, American Express’ licensee in Israel, and the international aviation and services company Jetex, announced an agreement to welcome eligible local American Express Card Members, with Cards issued by Premium Express in Israel including the Platinum and Centurion Cards, to a Jetex-operated lounge at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, expected to open later this year.
Access to the Jetex-operated lounge at Ben Gurion Airport will be available to a limited group of travelers, including eligible local American Express Card Members with Premium Express-issued Platinum and Centurion Cards in Israel.”
Bummer.
If you have a United Club℠ Card you may be able to access the Aspire Lounge via the United Club membership provided by that card, let us know what happens if you try to access it when flying on a Star Alliance or non Star Alliance carrier with that.
Hopefully, we’ll see more lounges with US cardholder access in the future in Tel Aviv!
