Improve Your Approval Odds:

A 50% discount code will be applied to the primary cardholder’s Atmos Rewards account within 10 days of credit card opening. Discount code is redeemable for ticket purchase by September 30, 2026 at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time.
The discount code is available on paid flights marketed by Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Horizon Air, or SkyWest and is valid between any Alaska Airlines city in North America, excluding Prudhoe Bay, AK (SCC). Alaska Lounge and WiFi Passes:
Receive 8 Alaska Lounge passes and 8 Wi-Fi passes each year (2 of each per calendar quarter).
Boarding pass must show a reservation for a same-day flight operated by Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, a OneWorld airline, or an Alaska Airlines global partner departing from or arriving at the airport in which the Alaska Lounge is located.
Partner Redemption Booking Fee Waiver:
When you use this card to redeem Atmos Rewards points for travel on Alaska Airlines’ network of airline partners, the booking fee associated with airline partner redemptions will be waived.
Best of all, you can use the card with anyone’s Atmos account for any travelers, and the fee will be waived on the final checkout page!
That’s a savings of $12.50 each way or $25 round-trip per passenger!
Plus, it means there is effectively no cancellation penalty on flights booked with Alaska miles as the full amount paid in miles and taxes will be refunded.
Award ticket applicable taxes and fees must be purchased with the Primary Cardholder’s card.
Points sharing:
- The Primary Cardholder can initiate linkage and share points between a network of up to 10 additional Atmos Rewards accounts.
- Cardholders may only be part of a single Points Sharing network.
- After initial linkage, the Primary Cardholder can only change each linked Atmos Rewards account once every 12 months.
- Points transfers are bidirectional — meaning either party in a link can send points to the other. Transfers are initiated by the sender and are not automatic or recurring.
- Only redeemable points are transferable. Status Points are excluded from Points Sharing.
- Points can be transferred back and forth between members in the network with no fees.
- There’s no set minimum or maximum per transfer or limits on the number of transactions.
- Once an invite is accepted, that connection is locked for 365 days
- A non-cardholder member can break their link at any time and join another cardholder’s network if invited.
- If the primary cardholder account is closed, all sharing network connections will be terminated.
Partner points transfers:
The Primary Cardholder is eligible for points transfers to participating partner programs, these transfers are subject to change.
Currently, this includes:
- IHG One Rewards (1:1, for limited time periods only)
- I Prefer Hotel Rewards (1:2)
- Marriott Bonvoy (1:1)
- Shangri-La Circle (8:1)
- Wyndham Rewards (1:1)
None of these are particularly compelling uses of Atmos points.
Same-Day Change Fee Waiver:
- The Primary Cardholder is eligible for free same day confirmed changes on Alaska Airlines, a $75 value.
- If the Primary Cardholder’s flight is within 24 hours, the Primary Cardholder may be able to change with no fees or fly standby for free.
- The Primary Cardholder must be holding confirmed reservations and tickets for flights operated by Alaska Airlines and must request the change prior to the departure of their original flight.
- The Primary Cardholder must keep the same origin, destination, thru, and connection cities.
- The Primary Cardholder’s new desired flight must depart on the same calendar day as their originally scheduled flight.
- Saver fares are not eligible for same day confirmed changes.
Flight delay and cancellation protection:
- A Primary Cardholder that experiences a same day flight departure delay of 2 or more hours, or a same day flight cancellation, on flights marketed by Alaska Airlines and operated by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air or SkyWest will receive a $50 voucher, valid for 48 hours from issuance, delivered to the email address associated with their reservation.
- Departure delay or cancellation must occur within 24 hours of scheduled travel.
- Travel must be originally booked directly via Alaska Airlines using the Atmos Rewards Summit card.
- Travel booked through a third-party merchant (e.g., travel agency, online merchant) will not qualify for this benefit.
- Only one $50 credit per calendar day.
Lounge Bar Program
Through 2026, cardholders may receive up to 2 complimentary signature cocktails or a selection from the elevated bar menu upon showing their Atmos Summit Visa card (physical card or digital wallet) to the lounge bartender.
Rental car perks and status
- Receive complimentary Avis President’s Club® membership and save up to 30% off base rates on qualifying rentals with Avis®
- Complimentary Emerald Club® Executive level membership and save up to 25% when you rent with National® Car Rental
- Enjoy special savings, faster service, extra hours on returns and Hertz Gold Plus Rewards bonus points
Free checked bag + priority boarding:
Both the primary cardholder and additional cardholders, as well as up to 6 additional guests on the same reservation, get priority boarding on Alaska, and get a free checked bag on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines flights, even on Saver Basic Economy tickets. That’s a savings of $70 round-trip per bag.
Most cards don’t offer this benefit on free authorized user cards, making this a valuable perk!
In-Flight Discounts:
Cardholders get 20% back on inflight food, beverage, and Wi-Fi purchases when you pay with your card.
Alaska Lounge Discounts:
Get $100 off an annual Alaska Lounge+ Membership purchased with your Alaska card.
Global Entry/PreCheck Credit
It costs $85 to apply for a 5 year TSA Pre-Check membership which makes flying pleasant again. Shorter lines, no need to remove your shoes, belt, jacket, or hat. You can keep your laptop and small liquids inside your carry-on. And you go through a good old fashioned metal detector instead of assuming the position in the body scanner. If you charge it on your card the fee will be refunded.
It costs $120 to apply for a 5 year Global Entry membership which lets you bypass the customs line. If you have Global Entry you also get TSA Pre-Check for free. If you charge it on your card the fee will be refunded. Kids can now apply for Global Entry for free with parents who are part of the program.
That’s a $120 value every 4 years.

Plus, you can get a free stopover on one-way awards or 2 free stopovers on round-trip awards.
I’ll often get a value of 10 cents per point when redeeming for a pricey last-minute domestic flight!

The 100K signup bonus, plus 25K companion award discount, and 50% flight discount, is a fantastic signup bonus for these valuable points.
If you use Atmos points to redeem for partner travel, earning a partner award fee waiver is a massive perk that may make the card pay for itself! It also means you can cancel awards worry-free at no charge instead of banking on making changes to avoid paying multiple partner booking fees.
The ability to earn 3 points per dollar on all foreign transactions with no foreign transaction fees is also a truly incredible perk for anyone who travels or lives abroad. Plus, if you have an eligible Bank of America account, that becomes a whopping 3.3 points per dollar spent!
If you can take advantage of the annual 100K global companion award discount, it will be very compelling to spend $60K annually on this card, especially if you spend in bonus categories. I just wish there were additional earning thresholds, though you will also earn elite status and milestone perks based on spending, which sweetens the pot even more!
With $60K spending, you’ll earn 30K status points and several milestone rewards. Combined with the 10K status points anniversary bonus, you’ll have enough to earn Alaska Gold status and OneWorld Sapphire status, which offers lounge access and more benefits on international OneWorld travel!
The points sharing perk and same-day fee waiver are also very valuable card benefits.
