Update, 5/6/26: JetBlue is now matching Spirit Silver elites to Mosaic 1 and Spirit Gold elites to Mosaic 2. Previously, Spirit Silver elites were not eligible for a match, and Spirit Gold elites were able to match to Mosaic 1. It’s unknown how long this opportunity will last.

JetBlue is also adding service to many new routes that were offered by Spirit.

Update, 6/30/25: Today is the last day for AAdvantage Platinum Pro members and higher, and Delta Platinum members and higher to match to Mosaic 2 valid through 12/31/25 instead of just 3 months, and be able to earn Mosaic 4 through 12/31/26 for earning 50 tiles by 12/31/25.

If you’re gunning for the JetBlue 25 for 25 promo offering up to 350,000 points and 25 years of Mosaic status, this is a good way of kickstarting your status, so that your qualifying flights will also come with Mosaic benefits and bonus points!

Update, 6/9/25: From now through 6/30, AAdvantage Platinum Pro members and higher, and Delta Platinum members and higher will match to Mosaic 2 valid through 12/31/25 instead of just 3 months.

Plus, if those matched members earn 50 tiles after matching and before the end of 2025, they will receive Mosaic 4 through 12/31/26! That would require spending and flying on $5,000 of JetBlue flights, spending $50,000 on JetBlue cards, or a combination thereof.

After reaching Mosaic 4, they will also earn 6 Move to Mint certificates, the ability to gift Mosaic 1 status to a friend or family member through the end of 2026, all Mosaic 1-3 Signature Perks, and 4 Perks You Pick Selections.

Normally, you can only reach Mosaic 3 via status matching, and Mosaic 4 normally requires 250 tiles.

Will you try to match and earn Mosdaic four status?

Likely due to JetBlue’s new partnership with United, United has been removed from the eligible partners on the status match page. We have asked JetBlue for comment on this and will update this post when they respond.

Update, 5/1/25: JetBlue will no longer match Frontier Gold status. 

Update, 4/4/25: JetBlue will now match Southwest A-List or A-List Preferred to Mosaic 2 instead of the previous Mosaic 1! This is a permanent change to JetBlue’s status match program.

Update, 2/18/25: Multiple readers reached out to let us know that their accounts were still showing a 2025 Mosaic expiration date. We passed on their info to JetBlue and JetBlue says that they identified the issue and fixed their accounts, as well as all other participants.

Hopefully, everyone has now been made whole, but feel free to let us know if your challenge period ended in 2025 and you still have a 2025 expiration date, when it should be 2026.

Update, 2/9/25: JetBlue originally confirmed to DansDeals that status would last until the end of the calendar year following the one when the 3 month period ends.

After numerous readers let us know that their status expired on 12/31/25 instead of 12/31/26, we reached out to JetBlue to make sure they would honor their original confirmation of the promo terms to us. JetBlue let us know that they will be honoring it and they have started updating accounts to a 12/31/26 expiration date, and that process should be completed over the coming days. 

Update, 10/28/24: Matches are now available from Frontier, Southwest, and Spirit. Those options have been added to the post below.

JetBlue Brings Back Status Match Challenge

If you have status with Alaska, American, Delta, or United, you can match to JetBlue for an elite status challenge.

There is no set expiration date for this offer, but it is “available for a limited time only and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. ”

If you take advantage of this offer, you won’t be eligible for another status match for 24 months.

You can match your status as follows:

• Alaska MVP or MVP Gold, American Gold or Platinum, Delta Silver or Gold, Frontier Gold, Platinum, or Diamond, Spirit Gold, and United Silver or Gold will match to Mosaic 1.
  • You’ll need to supply a screenshot of your frequent flyer program profile showing your full name and proof of status to match to Mosaic 1.
• Alaska MVP Gold 75K or 100K, American Platinum Pro or higher, Delta Platinum or higher, Southwest A-List or A-List Preferred, and United Platinum or higher will match to Mosaic 2.
• • You’ll need to supply a screenshot or photo of your most recent boarding pass or flight confirmation email showing your status and a screenshot of your frequent flyer program profile showing your full name and proof of status to match to Mosaic 2.

Processing will take up to 4 weeks.

• Status is valid for 3 months, but you can extend it until the end of the following year by earning:
  • 10 tiles to keep Mosaic 1
  • 25 tiles to keep Mosaic 2
  • 40 tiles to earn Mosaic 3
• Even if you match to Mosaic 1, you will earn Mosaic 2 or 3 by earning 25 or 40 tiles in 3 months.
• Even if you match to Mosaic 2, you will still get Mosaic 1 if you earn 10 tiles in 3 months.

Timing is key here if you want to extend status. The status will be extended based on the end of the 3 month challenge period. If you apply now and get the status in mid-September, your 3 month challenge period would end in mid-December and if you meet the challenge it would provide status through 12/31/25.

However if you apply in September and get the status in mid-October, your 3 month challenge period would end in mid-January and if you meet the challenge it would provide status through 12/31/26. Then again, if JetBlue processes the request faster than the 4 week processing time, you may wind up only getting status extended through 12/31/25.

To be safe, you may want to apply on 10/1, as the 3 month period would then have to end in January and status would be extended to 12/31/26 if you complete the challenge.

Then again, by waiting, you risk that the matching program could end before then…

You earn 1 tile for every $100 spent on JetBlue flights, most extras and fees, and vacation packages. You earn 1 tile for every $1,000 spent on JetBlue cards.

Normally, Mosaic 1 requires 50 tiles, Mosaic 2 requires 100 tiles, Mosaic 3 requires 150 tiles, and Mosaic 4 requires 250 tiles.
